BCAI’s 1st ever Fashion class!
Evolution of Fashion from the Roman Era to 21st Century
It’s all about the Power of what we wear, and how we wear it. Fashion is always a choice and where you wear what is even more. In this 3 hour class you will learn:
Color coordination, Color theory, the proper attire to wear to an interview, fashion Color Theory, The Elements of Fashion, Fashion Principles, and spending money on the right clothes.
Valuing money is a skill as well. Skills are so important so why not learn them earlier. We’ll also touch on topics like Different fashion movements, Cultural Appropriation and misappropriation, Fashion Classics. Don’t miss this chance!

to awaken and unlock interests and innate talent and skills within participants resulting in purposeful youth with ambition, utilizing their right to create in confidence and liberation
Winter Arts Exposure
Tuesdays & Wednesdays 5-8p + Saturdays 10a-12p – Jan 5-23 – 24 hr total!
Description: This session we look to teach each student patience & dexterity with crocheting and sculpting, confidence with martial arts tumbling and creativity & ingenuity with engineering, coding, robotics and painting.
Ages: 7 – 13 participants & 14-17 participate as artist assistants (interns)

What to bring: comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting art supplies on, your own water bottle full EVERY DAY, your mask and your excitement for something new
3-6/7-13/12-18 yr old classes

Description: Full classes that teach basic class etiquette, teamwork, fine & gross motor skills, various life & creation techniques and faith in self
Ages: suggested ages are cognitive maturity, not necessarily chronological
Instructors: Various professional guest instructors along with our internal geniuses: Haven Ryburn, Angelica Taylor, Angelique Racki, Famous Doug, Kieri’an Amerson
What to bring: loose, comfortable clothing (depending on the class, wear clothes that you don’t mind getting stained), socks/shoes, water bottle, mask
Adult Dance

Description: Varied genres, all skill levels welcome (no, it’s not awkward.)

Ages: 17 and up (chronological age)

Street Funk Breakdance
coming back summer 2021!
Description: Street dance styles from 80s to present: break, pop, lock, footwork, freestyle, etc.
Students will receive a foundation of bboy/girl knowledge including the history, purpose and potential of this artform and the culture it breathes in. You will receive training in basic and advanced breakdance techniques as well as tumbling and trick coaching.
Ages: 7 and up
